About Me:
last year i painted my house terra cotta with burgundy trim, and it looks great (by 'i' i mean me). and i built several new garden beds-- the best was the herbs going up my front walkway... and i replaced all of my windows (by 'i' i mean my dad). i didn't yet build my cedar greenhouse-- but next spring, most definitely. i'm a long time swing dancer missing that i don't do more of it now-- and excited for more travel to dance, especially to warm places in the cold months.
and it's still true, that i multitask with great vengeance.
i am if nothing else passionate about my life and my work, and filled with tremendous energy. the secret is that it's only because i prioritize a full night's sleep over all else.
the newspaper described me as: ..."a wisp of a woman with the energy of a John Deer tractor" and "the elfin young woman with the grin...".

Who I Want to Meet:
people who want to cook vegetables with me. people who can dance and love to (lindy hop extra extra extra bonus). people who are crafty. and creative. people who like to explore the backroads and are ready to take plunges with their whole minds and hearts and beings. people who read the newspaper, or some other alt form of media. npr junkies.
and canadialanders, as always.

were 16 and 17, I believe. I take credit for
her crossing over- and I'm still keeping tally
for my toaster over one day. We met as
we were both trying to save the world,
making it safe from lead mining, chip
milling, and the like. Refreshing to know
even now neither of us has given that
endeavor up yet, saving the world, I mean.
(though maybe through a different
interpretation of the mantra). I remember
sitting across the room from her when we
first met. We were writing bylaws for our
new nonprofit. She wore brown cords, and
I thought she was a hottie. There were a
few years where I tormented her for a
while and I was pretty mean, and I am
sorry for that. I hope she can forgive me.
