Aura-Phobia are a Melbourne-based alternative rock band with their own unique signature sound. The band draws inspiration from diverse musical influences including grunge, hard rock, Brit pop, and alternative rock. Ferdy's enigmatic vocals and compelling lyrics together with dynamic guitar riffs and a solid rhythm section take the audience on an aural journey that is fuelled by raw energy and intensity.

Winning the RMIT Battle of the Bands in 2004, they have since emerged to become dedicated, mature musicians with a loyal following that it growing by the day. Aura-Phobia have been embraced by a diverse following of fans both in Australia and overseas. They have performed at some of Melbourne and Sydney's finest live music venues including The Gershwin Room (The Espy), The Hi-Fi Bar, ZOS Niteclub, Bobby McGee's, The Greyhound Hotel, The Tote, The Arthouse and more. Aura-Phobia also opened for international act DEWA's 2006 Australian tour at Club QBH to a packed house.
