About Me:
I'm left of liberal and happy to be finally living
somewhere where others have similar views (yeah Humboldt
County!). I come from a Dutch family and through them have
learned to love traveling. I enjoy visiting old historical
areas as much as I enjoy going to visit natural areas.
Some say that I'm a bit obssessed with my cat, Josie, but I
say she's well worth it and talking about her a lot is a
great way to get rid of unwanted suitors. I enjoy my job
as a fisheries biologist, though with current state
budgetary woes things are always shakey. I started out on
the East coast and have gradually moved westward through
the time zones: I got my undergraduate degree at the
University of Texas at Austin, then I went to grad school
in Utah (still supposedly working on that thesis though),
and then moved to California for my job.

Who I Want to Meet:
I would like to meet people to go biking and hiking with,
and to trade dinner parties with. And discuss politics and
how to get rid of the shrub.

I really can't decide. Beatrijs

just so durn cute. I would rather not

Trudy's and the millenium new year to
chicken and waffles, i have countless fun

could have made it through life's many
