About Me:
i now am a dc resident. i was living
in sunny, firey hot tucson with my darling dog cholla- but i
was ready for some change, and now i miss it lots! dc is pretty alright.
i can be quiet, sometimes...
but if you know me you know that i love to dance, sing (or
pretend to) and let you know my opinion. oh and i am a
horrible speller.

i like meeting people from all sorts of places- but if you
are a fan of our current government i would have to say no
thanks.

we hadn't met at UPS shipping our
boxes to college then we would have
met in or orientation group or in one of
the two class we had together the first
semester of our first year or simply by
walking down the hall. Thank goodness
for strange coincidences because Ilyssa
is one of the best people I know. Smart,
funny, kind, and thoughtful-she never
ceases to amaze me. Now if only she
would find time to call me when she isn't
walking her damn dog :)
known her for a LONG time and about
20 years ago she would let me sit on
her bed because I had couties! Any
time I see Ilyssa I know I am going to
laugh, she is one of the few people I
know who knows ALL the words to the
humphty dance and its afraid to sing all
of them in public. I owe Ilyssa a trip to
D.C. SOON and I am looking forward to
meeting the famous cholla. Ilyssa is a
laid back, wonderful person - who isn't
afraid to let you know how she feels
when she dosen't agree with you. She
is a great mix of calm and relaxed and
on fire when she wants to be. She also
has a great way of picking up extremely
random and unusual men in bars -
always a good time!
mind you, not 'mad'. She's quite
friendly actually -- the dog, that is.
Anyway, 'lyss is also pretty cool, or at
least very tidy. But she hasn't been
doing her share of running and
emptying the dishwasher lately, so
this could potentially impair our
friendstership
such as the fact that she is more
indecisive than anyone I've ever met.
Her unconditional love for her dog is
also a notable quality. And if I had a
nickel for every time she said "Well,
I'll try anything once," I'd be able to
buy her a new shoe rack.

different, she taught me that I don't
know necessarily everything about life
and that I might benefit by listening
to people whom I might initially
inclined to dismiss. I think about her
every day and wish that she'd come
home.
