About Me:
Yahoo for friendster- I love seeing what people are up to. Especially since I'm so bad at keeping in touch. Sorry if I haven't talked to you in awhile- I hope you're doing well!
I'm doing great and enjoying living a block from the beach in Southern California. I moved to LA in June 2003, a month after graduating from Mizzou, with the Teach For America program. I've been here since and have a load of adventures and stories to tell. Currently I'm teaching 7th and 8th grade language arts in East LA at Nimitz Middle School. The days are LONG and the job is probably the most challenging thing I've ever done. But, all in all, it's an amazingly wonderful rollercoaster-ride of an experience. I'm not sure what's in store for me in the coming years- but for now life is good and the waves are treating me well. Keep in touch!

Pfeifer (think Dangerous Minds) saving
the world one 8th grade "Language!
student at a time. Apart from teaching
Ms. Hogan enjoys hanging out with
Ryan, shopping at Ross Dress For
Less, and finding useful and not-so-
useful things for our apartment. Ms.
Hogan especially likes to frequent
Craig's List--sometimes the items she
finds are free and sometimes they're
not, but regardless, we never pay for
them.
But in all seriousness...Heather is da
bomb! She's one of the most caring,
kind, giving, and entertaining people
I've ever met. She's always got a great
story and living with her, there's never a
dull moment! (If there is...you can
always ask her to tell you a joke.)
and weren't friends, I guess I know she's
OK now. She makes a great roommate
and surfing partner . . . if only she would
quit doing everything I do.
