About Me:
I just got back from a summer research gig in Kenya. It's all very exciting and I wish I was still in Africa. I may go back to Kenya soon. I miss it everyday and if you've ever been there you know why. Even with so many problems (mostly caused by colonization), the people stay strong and beautiful.
So, I finally found a fab new home in the Mission district of SF! whoo! Panaderias here I come!
I'm sort of trying to write this very political, very romantic, somewhat spiritual novel about immigration issues and racism but I haven't had much time to work on it lately. I do a lot of political activism. It's fits well with my insomniac/workaholic/angry but hopeful progressive lifestyle. I'm a student and I work two jobs (journalism and grassroots youth organizing), so I don't have much time for the nonessential right now.
So in general I tend to spend more time standing out in the street in a bright red jacket waving a protest sign and shouting "Si Se Puede!" and attending numerous dull and lengthy political functions than going out to bars or shows. But on a good day you can find me at an indie bookstore, moldy old movie theare, panaderia, or art gallery. Either way I will send you angsty political emails and harrass you into taking action if you become my friendster. You have been warned.

testimonial for months but haven't been
able to come up with anything that
hasn't yet been said about Amrah. So
I'll just say that she inspires me, I
always look forward to seeing her and
that I always feel like time with her
is time well spent.
woman is a romantic, smart, funny,
fashionable, ambitious, she believes
she can change the world, but the world
would kneel down and submit all power
to her if she asked, yes kids she is
that hot and so much fucking more.
what a knockout she is, then you can be
left staggering by how hip, artistic,
savvy, kind, noble, intelligent, and
fun she is. Yep. She's pretty
incredible.
Amrah where we played the most
unconvincing couple in the world. I
mean really, why would a fox like Amrah
wanna run around with a hound like me?
It just doesn't make sense. Ebert and
Roeper gave it two thumbs up my ass for
my terrible acting but I heard Amrah's
performance prompted them to get extra
butter on their popcorn!
fucking spell "marshmallow".
