About Me:
AREA MAN FACES MOTIVATION-BASED DISCRIMINATION DURING JOB SEARCH
Brighton, MA - Recent Colgate University graduate Jesse Czekanski-Moir has suffered near-insurmountable discrimination in his two-month job search, which began after he returned from a hiking trip in Alaska with absolutely no bearing to his future. "I've been searching in the help wanted section of the Boston Globe, and on Monster.com, and, like, a bunch of other places, but all the job descriptions say that the employer seeks a 'highly motivated individual.'" Czekanski-Moir, who has been described by mother Toni Czekanski as suffering from "crippling apathy," continues to recall days of yore, when employers posted signs saying "Irish Need Not Apply." "I mean, how are slackers like me ever supposed to get gainfully employed?" "Jesse's a really talented guy," says father Rob Moir, "he just needs to find something he enjoys and buckle down a little." Czekanski-Moir, who also possesses minimal time-management abilities, and at best a moderate capacity to work as part of a team, continues, "You know, you wouldn't think that a white, upper-class, heterosexual male from the Northeast with a B.A. from a respected university would be discriminated against that much. But, there it is." Czekanski-Moir states that he's thinking about filing a law suit, and that he might start looking into it first thing tomorrow morning.
speaking of no bearing on my future, check out me playing guitar and singing some songs that I wrote (and some covers), some stuff with my college a cappella group, and some electronic-ish stuff I did as a collaboration with my roommate (and friendster friend), Erik:

friendster for ages, but his last name
just REFUSES to be spelled correctly.
Jesse was my peer editor freshman
year of high school. I liked him just fine.
Everything changed between us the
minute I saw him creep from stage right,
crooning "Beauty School Dropout,"
remarkably clad in mop-wig and blue
light. Love him, I implore you.
finals, but for some reason today I've
been digging around through all my old
highschool photos. And I just found this
beautiful photo of Jesse, grinning, with
his eyes shut (of course). I think it
was taken at our junior prom (or
whatever our hippie school called it),
where I was lucky enough to have Jesse
as my boyfriend and date. He really is
an angelic person, someone I'm lucky to
have shared some of the most pivotal
teenage moments with and lucky to still
have in my life. Really. Jesse is special.
