      • Miss Charmaine. She's a way cool chick and I believe her to be the love child of Joey & Goldie, circa 1969 of course.

She radiates sunshine non-stop, despite her kooky accent.

She is a very interesting, thought provoking artist who has a dangerous side job (smuggling discount drugs from the Great White North).

I'm so very happy and feel lucky to be her friend. Oh, and I am glad to have introduced her to riding naked on a scooter after the first snowfall of the winter season!

        Love,
        Crystal

      • Charmaine is the real deal. She takes risks like no one else I know. Some of the art projects she's done would make carolee schneemann blush violet, but that just proves that she's the real deal. She demands rigor in all things, so when you're ready for the world's best art crit and/or fashion consultation, you know who to call.

One young scientist, however, will push deep into the recesses of buried gotham. There, beyond a green doorway, he discovers a sanctuary whose legendary occupant will reach from her egyptian sleep to change lives on a thousand worlds:
Perfectly radiant within her timeship, light from the fearless golden heart on her sleeve illuminates thousands of artifacts lining her studio walls. Anti-grav Art Historians marvel at the rich trove of masterworks, so many of them hidden from the eyes of even those lucky enough feel her living warmth.
On distant planets, the cult of Charmaine will spring up among many sparkling souls, each wearing a tiny shrinky-dink heart about their necks. The message of She-Who-Is-Cha will spiral through every galaxy, a bright thread of love, passion, creativity and the eternal foxyness of tiny little thongs.

      • Charmaine is a person I can talk almost about
        everything, most importantly about love.
The person with whom I can in fact talk about
love is the person who loves to love as much as I
        do, the way I do.

Charmaine is a great gift giver, and moreover, she
is an excellent gift taker. Bataille said pure ethic
of gift requires it to be - on both sides - freed from
expectations. To give is to receive, to receive is
to give. Gift is contact. Gift is sensual. e.g. I give
her a sweater, and she wears it, she gives me a
fact of wearing it. Charmaine instinctively
understands this. We exchange gifts often -
though I am not her amorous subject nor her mine
        - and I have witnessed her transform a dust
bunny into a diamond. This is where her art lies.
It stands to reason that Love and Giving are the
two of the recurring subject matters in her
artworks. And her sustained effort to understand
them deeper makes her artworks stand above the
        rest.

      • HEART OF GOLD. That's right. That's the
most important thing. Charmaine has a heart
of gold. That is the most simple way to
explain that gazzilion of good things about her.
The details would take days, so I'll just tell it
like it is: HEART OF GOLD!!!!!

      • this is easily the first person i would ask to
tell those misguided canadians where to go.
they should either just give up, or bring
charms up to the upper north side, stick her
hooks in, and drag us all into the east river.

      • Geezzzzz, my testimonial is subject to
        Charmaine?s approval???? That?s no fun,
now I can?t tell you about her pink
leather skirt days. I better stick to
the deep stuff and say that Charmaine
is an absolute joy germ (scantily clad
and all). The best thing I can say
about her is that, although I haven?t
seen her mor about eight years, she
still makes me cackle with laughter.
