Who I Want to Meet:
"I still know nothing except that something is going to happen on a vast scale, something dreadful in which I myself will be involved. Sinclair, we will take part in this event that we have discussed so often. The world wants to renew itself. There's a smell of death in the air. Nothing can be born without first dying. But it is far more terrible than I had thought." I want to meet Demian, the person, the world, the myself as Demian or Elizabet.

when Snezan and I were among the handful of
students who stayed in Williamsburg over the
break, I remember it began snowing. We got in my
car and went over to the Sunken Gardens and were
perhaps the only two people witness to a scene that
was perhaps the most beautiful I have ever had the
good fortune of seeing. There was a sort of
blasphemy in having a snowball fight in the driven
snow, but we were so drunk on it that we didn't
really notice. I remember throwing snowballs at
Snez, and catlike, he would dodge them. He got
me a couple of times. I gave up and wrote my
name in huge letters in the snow.
I will always remember Snezan fondly... and for
whatever reason, whenever anyone asks me to
describe him, I can only come up with rambling
anecdotes and anticlimactic stories. I think he
would find that vaguely appropriate.
with a flower and put it on my desk as
he walked by. I didn't even know him then...

miss Snezan. He is definitely the most
kind, thoughtful, and selfless person I
have ever met. He is also the most
intent listener - he focuses on you and
takes in every word. I will always
miss our walks from KDR to Brown.
