i am an avid listener of NPR (dan shore rules!) and the BBC NewsHour (robin lustig rocks!). i am torn between nourishing my cosmopolitan tastes and knocking the man on his ass. mostly though, i enjoy sitting on mine and seething in righteous indignation. despite the rumors, i am a teetotaler. i'd love to see the world in black and white, but am enough of a pragmatist to know the 60s are over. in another life, i may have been a bolshevik. in this one, i seek fame (sadly, the save-the-world biz isn't rich in lucre) as a slayer of vitriolic giants. nina simone and tom waits make me feel all warm and tingly. i have sweet lips, and oh, i knock boots exclusively to the sweet rhythms of sade.
