music, listening to NPR, singing songs by chick singers on my guitar, cooking, movies, travel, skiing, going to baseball games (GO YANKEES!)

I enjoy authors such as Tom Robbins, Charles Bukowski, Truman Capote, Audre Lourde, JK Rowling, Jean Auel (Clan of the Cavebear series author). I generally like non-fiction as well, if the story is good. I like books to have a plot.

Tampopo, Dazed and Confused, Withnail and I, In America, Legally Blonde, The Station Agent, 50 First Dates. I like oddball indy films, and anything with Reese Witherspoon!

all kinds: rock, folk, world music, jazz, blues, funk, hip-hop, new wave/punk...you get the idea?

The Simpsons, CSI, The Sopranos, Amazing Race, What Not To Wear, and most of the home-improvement shows on TLC like In a Fix, Trading Spaces, etc. Not huge into anime but I love Cowboy Bebop. Despite best efforts to quit the habit, I am back to watching ER. Trying not to get hooked on any more cop or doctor shows!

I am 5'3", brown eyes and hair. I am married to my best friend. We have two crazy cats and a perfectly adorable little boy, Alex, born 4/4/06 (5 weeks early!) We are busy adjusting to life as parents.
