As America's largest gay and lesbian organization, the Human Rights Campaign provides a national voice on gay and lesbian issues. The Human Rights Campaign effectively lobbies Congress; mobilizes grassroots action in diverse communities; invests strategically to elect a fair-minded Congress; and increases public understanding through innovative education and communication strategies.

HRC is a bipartisan organization that works to advance equality based on sexual orientation and gender expression and identity, to ensure that gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Americans can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community.

      • When I used to canvass for you, MAN!
those were some crazy times. I even
made out with some girls just to make
my efforts that much more authentic --
that's how much you inspired me, HRC.
of course, I still make out with girls now,
but it's not because of you anymore, it's
        because I'm drunk and "experimental"
(atleast, that's what my shrink says).

      • HRC, isn't it funny how we stand for
human rights and equality and then
those alleged men of God like Pat
Robertson and Jerry Falwell say that
we're going to hell? Well, if heaven's full
of the Christian Right, I'm sure Satan will
        be much more accommodating. I'll
bring the coctail weenies, you bring the
        feather boa and the cosmopolitans.
        See ya there!
