About Me:
I'm a transplanted Texan, who's been in NYC
for over 10 years. Much to the chagrin of my family, I
have lost most of my Texas accent and now sound almost
Canadian. I geek out over music and books, much to the
chagrin of some of my friends. I love wandering around NYC
with no particular destination in mind. And all I need to
recover from a bad day is a stiff Jack and Coke and bucket
of chips and salsa. ummm...chips and salsa.

karaoke night. it amazes me that she
can start singing before she even gets
drunk-quel rarity. don't worry,
crystal, i've been practicing "careless
whisper" so i don't suck as badly next
time.
since i met her she has been true to
her word and true to her friends. I can
always count on her to bring me back to
reality when i let something stupid get
to me. She knows whats important and
knows what it takes to be a real
friend. She even promises to come visit
me in minneapolis....in WINTER! Now
thats a true friend! i love i love i
love.....!!!! Now get to it and marry
my brother already...i want you at
thanksgiving dinner! even if we do have
to make a veggie plate. :P
Her goddess-like charm is infectious.
Plus, she never gets mad at my
unintentional absentmindedness. she
knows i love her dearly no matter how
little we see of one another.
smart, loads of fun and funNY to boot.
Crystal rules the school! I heart Crystal!
for years and hardly ever had a fight.
She is a fun, goodhearted person with a
great sense of humor, and she makes her
own salsa! Her cat's cute too. Yay
Crystal.
She knows where it's at. She challenges
herself and always seems to land on her
feet. I certainly admire her for it.
I remember the first time I visited NYC with
her during our college days. Our first night
there we showed some Brooklyn boys the
true meaning of drunken Southern
hospitatlity....although since we are actually
Texans so that would be drunken
Southwestern hospitality. We even gave
swing dance lessons that night at the Village
Idiot...was it? This lass knows how to have a
good time to boot! I sure do miss her being
here in Austin, Texas.....will she ever come
home?
missed parties and events, Crystal does
a mean job of getting drunken people to
play the ABCD game in front of their
dates. Plus she's consistently fun to
hang out with and great to talk to. Yay
Crystal!
You should be her friend. I am. Just
ask her who her A's are.
but there's a bond. I used to drive
Crystal crazy, but still she gave me a
Debbie Gibson album for helping her out
at the college radio station. I still
have it, 7 years later.
personality than any of you. But
enough about me... Crystal simply
rocks and she knows the value of a
fine bowl of guacamole. But a Texan
that doesn't eat meat? No wonder
she's been exiled to NYC.
