My friends tell me I have a wonderful way of making people feel special and like to surround myself with people who do the same. I try to live my life truthfully, without games, without guise. I leave my heart open, which while making me vulnerable to hurt leaves me available to more intense feelings of joy. I strive to connect with people and the world. I try to stay productive. I like to wake up and think "What will i do today?" not "Can I just sleep in?" But I do enjoy a "cuddle-all-day-in-bed day" too. I love to learn. When I visit a museum, looking isn't enough. I want to know what inspired the artist or how the art has changed the world. I ask questions. I believe you learn more by listening than you do talking, and try to practice that as often as possible. I like people I can be silly with. There's nothing I like more than clowning around, acting silly, and having a really good laugh ... then again, I love a really good cry too.

Others think I'm courageous. I gave up a successful advertising career when I turned 30 to pursue a dream. To my parents dismay, I decided to play a hand at acting. And here I am today ... waiting tables, picking up any other job I can find, and struggling every day with how to make my dream a reality. But it is a wonderful ride!

How do you know who you want to meet? I know who I want to get to know better. And who I don't. It's all in the chemistry that takes place between two people when they connect ... or don't.
In general, I get along with people who have intellect but aren't a bore, are driven by logic AND emotion, people who can hold conversations on topics beyond themselves, and people ... people who love, people. Because aren't they the luckiest people in the world?
