finally reading again - for the first time in over 2 years -- since moving back to brooklyn have read: david sedaris' latest collection, middlesex, the corrections. all amazing reads that made my subway ride fly by. i need new suggestions...

About Me:
Yeah - I'll keep this original post: Sometimes out of sorts, moving ahead in the world. within the past two years I've met my inspiration,
relocated, had a string of crazy jobs, gotten married,
braved a long winter while pregnant, had a baby, and
moved again. trying to organize and prioritize
these days. *new - now i can say that it's been over 4 years since i left NYC the first time and ventured off to portland, maine. now, back in brooklyn by way of the detroit 'burbs. lots going on...good to be back, different as it is this time around.

k - as mentioned - i'm reading again, hurray! and yeah...i need some new suggestions. i also want to meet some people who make it work in brooklyn with a child/children who aren't rolling in dough....HOW do you do it?

attest to the fact that she slept
through most of high school! Everytime
I try to reminisce about it, she
says, "blah...I don't remember a
thing". My goal is to convince her she
was the homecoming queen but forgot it
all due to a freak accident involving a
white saab and Mrs. Brown.
with gum in your mouth, you'd wake up and
your toes would be stuck together. Years
later i found out that he made that up and
there was no scientific proof that gum can
anyway be attributed one's toes sticking
together. Al's got nice feet.

friendship thanks to the ever expanding
world of cyberspace. since we are both
new moms we have a lot to talk about
