I'm interested in the person who hung the sign on the
coffeeshop bulletin board that asked "Who stole my Santana
poster?"
I have a big starcrush on Sidney Poitier. You know, he's the Bahamanian ambassador to Japan.

Why don't I ever see him? I want some
cake! I want some chaos! Let's start
a meaningless mob, Mr. Waffle.
like without hal. i dont know what i
did before he was around. he's so
much more than just a primo pastry
chef. he's so much more than the only
person in my office who makes me
realize i should not committ suicide
on a daily basis. he's become a very
good friend. i treasure him like i'd
treasure a burberry patterned stuffed
bear if only someone would give one to
me. to provide one final illustration
of what a great pal hal is to me,
consider that i could sit at his desk
and cry about how no one will ever
give me a burberry stuffed bear while
the weird guy with woman hips who sits
in the office across from his cubicle
pretends not to listen to us and he
(hal, that is) would actually listen
and give me some good advice or words
of encouragement that made it sound
like he was really listening all along.
Tower the first time around sometime in the
Paleolithic era. He writes great letters,
makes cool mix tapes (this was all pre-
internet). He rides his bike in all kinds of
weather and lives on islands and shit. His
wit and smile are all that is right in the world.
He always has warm blankets for
houseguests. Hal needs a picture so we can
see that fantastic head of hair!
of a thousand couldn't keep him down,
man...Hal is God, Hal is love, Hal is
better than a four letter word...by ONE.
If I had to pick one word to describe
Hal, it would be "rhinovator."
mellow _grounded_ energy. Its great to
have him around. He's reliable, upbeat,
mellow. He also bakes decadent and
beautiful desserts. I've found that his
overall likability, combined with the
factors listed above, make him a great
party favor. Yum.
