I was born on May 4nd in 1983 in Bogor,Indonesia. The son of a strict

java Mother and 70% Java + 30% bataks Father. I live in a lil' house with my

parents and my sister. My father was a PNS (Pegawai Negeri Sipil) retired now. My

mother just an ordinary mother who likes spend a time in home, raise they kids

with all love they got, and watch a TV show...(super soulmate) hahahaha.
I started to know hiphop some time around 1992. I remember one occasion

where I was on my cousin house (gw nginep dirumahnya)..its a Idul Fitri day..and

my cousin played the HOUSE OF PAIN, NAUGHTY BY NATURE, and CYPRESS HILL album on

his deck. And..(mau ga mau..) jadi ikut ngedengerin juga. They are my first

influence. They was the first group I heard rap to my "face" and it really made a

mark on me. And then, I meet aN2 in around 1999..he is my classroom friend in

Ganesha Operation(GO). Me and aN2 have a same shit..we love CYPRESS HILL. I think

we have same vision about music and its good to make a group together. After all,

me and aN2 came to Titz (who was my homies from the neighborhood, Titz was a big

brother of my bass player on my old band) and talked into making music. I didn't

think i would make any money from it,music just a hobbies for me. And then, titz

have same fuckin' vision and interesting to make a group together. He say that he

wants to take his friend named Santoz into our group. So in 2000 we chillin'

together and do some rap in Bogor city. At the time FADE2BLACK was a hiphop group

band..aN2 take a key, Lezano take a drums,Titz on rappin', Santoz on rappin',

Penisto on rappin', lostBone on rappin', dito on bass, and botak on the guitar.

Because of some trouble in the band.. the formation not take a long time. Last

man standing are Santoz,Titz,Lezano,Penisto,LostBone,and aN2. I wanted to be an

MC in the group so i talk to my homies, and they say yes. At the time I was good

with delivery (but not pretty good..hehe) but didn't have the best lyrics.

On 2003, we recorded a first our indie album, which included a smash

street single in bogor "Hiphop jati diri". sounds like absurd WUTANG beats with

brass section in the back (yeah..the brass is absurd too..). On this song I was

just messin' around to it, trying a normal voices and deliveries and I did an

early version of the voice I use now. it was wack and I wasn't going to rap like

that one day...hahahaha. in the same year we meet up the MOLOTHUVZ. They tell us

everythings about hiphop and told me to improve the lyrics and come up with a

better rhyming. So i knew i had to come up with something shit since i wanted to

be an MC in the group. We and MOLOTHUVZ also made some new songs out there..

2005 we have a project with a talented bass player named BONDAN PRAKOSO

(yaaa...dia bekas penyanyi cilik itu). We made a demo with a new shit in the

major streams, we do cross genre likes hiphop-chacha-jazz-funk-rock-and ol' that

shit. And on the strength of that demo we got signed to Sony/BMG Indonesia. We

finished our album, did a video for "Bunga" and went on the road shortly after.

The project only included 3 member of FADE2BLACK (Santoz,Titz,and me). The rest

of FADE2BLACK not join in it because they have they own problems..(Penisto lagi

Skripsi di Bandung, LostBone baru masa penyembuhan dari sakit paru2nya..dan aN2

menolak untuk bergabung karena ingin konsen memproduced lagu2 FADE2Black

sendiri).

Till now.. I still do the project with BONDAN PRAKOSO, and prodused a new

album of FADE2BLACK
