About Me:
I make a mean omelet. I love the color red, and have never met a cookie I didn't like. Unless it has coconut in it. Or banana. I don't like too many ingredients or too much bread on my sandwiches. I hate it when someone starts a sentence with the word "Um..." on the phone. I drive a stick shift. I do not like it when people pretend to listen but are really not.

Who I Want to Meet:
Many people: fun, interesting, outgoing folks with
something to say. If you can throw out a few Ralph Wiggum
quotes, so much the better.

renaissance woman...i don't know how
she does it all, and seemingly without
trying one bit! (perhaps it comes from
having a parents who lead the way? i
mean, how many of our dads play
Jazzfest?...my dad doesn't know what
a backbeat IS!) noodley is one of the
most caring, fun, talented individuals i've
ever met...brilliant like a star, and ever
so fashionable. she throws the coolest
parties, and can order a happy hour
caipirinha with correct pronunciation!
even after drinking three of them! ;) if
she weren't so genuine, you'd have to
hate her for being so gosh-darned cool!
friend that will go all the way out to
long island just to see you and will
eat cookie dough while knitting a
scarf for her mother and singing
something from rent. new york misses
her and so do i.
graduation that I realized I wasn't in
love with Natalie, but rather, I was in
love with the IDEA of Natalie. The
IDEA of the perfect girl who was smart,
gorgeous, funny, cute, witty, friendly,
athletic, sweet, popular...ah, who am I
kidding, I was in love with Natalie.
from the sea of kids Freshman year of
high school, she was about fourteen,
sitting on the bleachers in gym class,
upset about some boy. For some reason
I had to sit down and try to make her
feel better. Over the next four years
she became one of the few girls I
could actually consider a friend,
despite the fact that by the time she
was Homecoming Queen she had quite a
trail of broken hearts behind her.
Through no fault of her own though - I
was always amazed when yet another
friend of mine was affected by this
superpower, some of them going all the
way back to sixth grade! But what
really makes this girl extraordinary
is her ability to make everyone around
her happy, and the fact that it seems
that no matter what, no one can stay
angry with her. So now that she's
getting married, I can only wonder how
big the security detail to keep the
throng of stalkers and ex's (real and
wannabe) at bay is going to be. I'll
bring the stun guns.
a sister to me, not just a friend. I
have known her since we were 2 years
old, so for 23 years! That's pretty
darn impressive, if you ask me.
Natalie has taught me many important
things in my life. She taught me about
God and Jesus while sitting in the
kitchen pantry. She taught me how to
curse while taking a bath at age 4.
And she taught me "the pretzel"...a
partner dance that is VERY versatile
and goes great with cajun, swing,
country, and many other styles of music.
My Noodlie has moved back to the
south...so she is once again far, far
away from me. But, no matter how far
away from eachother we are, nor how
long we go between visits or even
conversations, it is like we never left
eachother's side.
Love ya Noodles!!!
testimonial, but I've decided to follow it up
with a doosey (I don't think that's how you
spell that? but anyway...)
N kitty is an amazing specimen. She is
smart, warm, and funny to say the least.
Whenever I need immediate fashion
inspiration, she's constantly there with
something red and fabulous to make me
jump for joy. And sista sistah's, if you need a
drinking partner, this bird rarely flocks to the
bar scene, but when she does... you better
make sure they're packin' plenty of
"charrrdonnayyy" Much love. K.
