me. Now Bubba is a true Renaissance Man
in my mind. Really, all you need to be a
Renaissance Man in my mind is the ability to
rock and the ability to bowl (being known as
Bubba doesn't hurt either...) Hell, Bubba's
my personal Da Vinci whan it comes to
rockin' and bowlin'. Plus he's a hell of a
phone gabber. He and I used to get on the
phone with each other for DAYS! Alas, now
he is in the Land of Long Distance so all I
get is his face in a little box on my
Friendster page.... But don't think I'm not
proud to have him there. I'm glad to call him
my friend! HEY BUBBA!!!!
movie-goer, Halo buddy, actor, singer,
person, and friend. He is personally
responsible for a huge amount of the
self esteem I currently have, and if it
weren't for Kevin I don't know if I'd
have the courage to follow my dreams at
all (especially the one of me being a
famous composer some day). "He po'i ka
la'i" is one of my favorite pieces
(both #1 & #2). He stands among the
greats. If you know him, feel blessed,
and if you don't know him, get to know
him, you won't regret it.
ever met in these United States. Kind,
friendly, intelligent, talented, and
above all positive and optimistic, Mr.
S. is a fuckin' stand-up guy. Can't wait
to get back to the West Coast to hang
out again!
rest of your life if you so wish!
remembers me...
this guy ruled my world when i was in
HS (which was not too long ago) haha.
his super rad band made me so
happy...and he is such a sweet guy,
always talking with everyone after
shows. such a genuine person. once in
awhile i still listen to the mix cd he
made me with bruce lee on the
cover...such a damn good mix. bubba
is such a caring person...he was going
to be my prom date bc i was a loser
and had no one to go with...but then
he moved away :( but whatever, the
fact that he was going to be my prom
date rules hardcore! you don't find
many guys like this anymore. miss you!!
i do remember is this guy is one
helluva molly ringwald-esque dancer.
awwww yeah!
It's so wierd, when I look back at the
band days and the certain things I
really miss, I always end up missing
Bubba and Dan the most. I dont think
Ive ever known anyone who could make me
smile more than those two could.
I guess you both just made me feel
comfortable, and of course protected,
and with me, no one ever really makes
me feel that way.
left for my first tour in 2000 and said
these words to me: "These are your
lucky socks. If you feel a show is
going to be crappy or something bad
might happen, wear these socks and all
will be alright." So I did, and it's
worked ever since. I still wear these
socks to this very day when I might
need a little extra luck. For this I
am forever grateful.
