college. He cast me as Eugene in a scene
from Biloxi Blues for his senior
directing class. Ben took me under his
wing and showed me the methods and
techniques of the craft. We talked about
great films and actors, and his
enthusiasm and love for the artform was
contagious. His guidance and direction
gave me the confidence I needed to
strip down to my boxers and lose my
virginity to a prostitute in front of an
audience. I felt amazing on that stage
and afterwards, people said things like,
"Great job!"
"Nice work!"
"You should've worn tighty-whiteys
under your shorts, everyone could see
your dick!"
Ben was the best, and though we haven't
spoken in years(sadly), I often wonder
what he's up to. I want to thank him for
being so cool. If you diss Hindell, you
diss yo'self. I know I'll be a fan for
life because, in the words of Bobby D. ,
