information. He turned me (basic long-
hair metal-hippy guy back then) on to
SO many good bands. His band Salvo
Rain gave my old band Black Plastic our
first show, a gift I will never
forget. I only wish we could have
played more shows together, no matter
how mis-matched we were. Unfortunately
most only know him as a drummer, but if
you were lucky enough to see it he is a
fine guitarist as well. Hagstrom
players unite! I gotta say, of all the
Northern North Carolina people I know,
Gregory is one of the few that I stil
get really excited about hearing
from. I gotta come see him at the
libary-suppository sometime. I miss
him, and I don't miss much of anybody.
Incredibly humble and cool to the bone,
he probably won't post a testimonial
this gushing cuz he is just that cool,
but he is tops in my book. If you know
him you are rich, if you don't you are
poor. That simple.
not one of us. when we met i was almost
about to tell him to get off the stage
because we were about to play but it
sunk in that he was our drummer. never
met before that. he is one of the best
friggin drummers i have ever met. i
still try to play the way he does(did).
his mind is so full of music,
everything he does is completely new
and different. its a shame that we
havent played together other than that
one awesome day. salvo rain is still
one of my favorite bands ever. ever.
would have sucked a whole lot more! His
sense of humor is as twisted as mine
and that is why Greg ROCKS!!! Plus he's
a librarian and that is DAMN sexy----
