The Simpsons, Sex and the Suburbs

One sunny afternoon, I came across the Buddha chewing on something mushi. I thought it was a dead animal, which perplexed me, until I realized that it was apparently just a large fig. The Buddha looked up at me and said, "Word." I was not sure what this was in reference to. I think he assumed that I was a young urban hipster, which is strange because I wouldn't expect the Buddha to assume anything, especially being so preoccupied with a large fig. Nevertheless, we got to talking about things like the conspiracies in American government (there are many, Buddha claimed) and the lifespan of the butterfly (I thought it too short, he said it was exactly the right length). We passed a networked community of Friendsters mellowing out on a grassy knollster. The Buddha asked me if I would like to smoke some greensters, but I told him I was trying to save my money to buy CDJ's. He told me that I should be DJ Squared, since my initials are D.J. "That is very witty," I said to the Buddha. After we had made our way through many profiles, the Buddha grew serious and told me that I should help others to get in touch with the cosmic spiritual message. I told him that it might be more well-received if it was packaged in a Happy Meal. The Buddha laughed heartily and fell backward as if he was dodging a bullet in the Matrix. "Your tongue is quick," he said to me as he rolled around in joyful spasms. I helped him up and he gave me his website address. Then he said that my generation would discover spirituality outside of the Catholic church. "Jesus Chirst," I said, "you can't be serious." Replied the Buddha, "I am serious, and don't call me Jesus Christ." He handed me some strawberries, and I promised to send him postcards from Bangkok. We hugged, he sat by a tree, and with that our afternoon concluded. A fine day indeed.thanks!
