San Pablo: A Heritage-Endeared Town

In the Queenly Province's northern horizon
is my heritage-endeared hometown
Home to famed leaders of the past
her old grandeur and simplicity should last

Her old exquisite Church mirrors piety
born from faith through all eternity
Ascending its tower shows wider perspectives
On its walls, values were carved into bricks

Rustic, simple life what else can one crave
Her fabulous landmarks, her children ought to save
Named after Paul the Great Apostle-Saint
Her children's faith should never faint

Visit a home, you will be received with smile
She gives a stranger an experience that is worthwhile
Her children remain closely knit
In togetherness they won't go adrift

San Pablo- the old hometown is my place for retreat
from all the troubles which I tried to beat
Though she still lacks the perceived luster of progress
she remains a precious gem people wish to posses

I have left her and stayed in other places
being away from her only spelled sadness
Indeed, there is no place like home
In my dear San Pablo I will never be alone
