The Four Virtues In Our School Moto
1. 礼 ： 人 类 行 为 的 规 范。
在 言 行 举 止、 服 饰 装 扮 方 面 都 合 乎 规 矩 和 礼 仪。
THE RULE OF PROPRIETY : A person who follows the rule of propriety is a person who shows good behaviour and manner, utters appropriate words, wear suitable attire etc on all occasions.
2. 义 ： 合 宜 正 当 的 行 为。
对 朋 友 同 学、 亲 戚 家 人、 社 会 国 家 履 行 自 己 的 责 任。
RIGHTEOUSNESS : a righteous person is a just and upright person and always performs his duties towards the nation, the family, friends, relatives etc.
3. 廉 ： 清 白 洁 净 的 思 想 和 行 为。 节 制 个 人 欲 望， 坚 持 朴 素 作 风， 不 奢 侈 浮 华， 不 贪 求 财 物。
INTEGRITY : A person who has the virtue of 廉( lian ) always upholds his integrity by resisting material, monetary and other forms of temptations and greed. He leads a clean and non-corrupt life.
4. 耻 ： 对 羞 耻 事 情 的 知 觉。
奉 公 守 法， 洁 身 自 爱， 远 离 令 自 己、 家 人 甚 或 国 家 蒙 羞 的 事 情。
A SENSE OF SHAMFULNESS : A person has a sense of shamfulness always refrains himself from doing wrongful things for fear of being looked down upon, ridiculed or disgusted.
