NAVARRO ug inubanan sa iyang igsoon nga si DENNIS NAVARRO nga mao usab ang nagdumala sa sikat nga Drum and Bugle Corps sa Lumad Basakanon ang CADENCE. Iya kining gisultian sa iyang mga plano nga magtukod siya ug usa ka Sinulog Contingent nga diha sa iyang barangay para mo suporta sa kalihukan sa atong local nga gobyerno ug usa pud sa iyang mga panaad isip pasalamat sa atong Labawng Makakagahum sa Batang Hesus mao ang Niño. Dako kaayo ang pagsalig sa among Amahan sa Barangay sa duha ka mga maayong magtutudlo tungod kay sa wala pa sila magtudlo sa Lumad Basakanon nagsugod naman sila ug tudlo ug mga nagkadaiyas nga sayaw sama sa Sinulog sa maski asa nga lugar sa syudad ug mag sige pud sila ug kadaog. Ug tuod man sa tuig mil nuybe sentos nobyenta (1990) natukod gayud ang gipangandoy sa among tinahod nga Amahan sa Barangay ang usa sa iyang mga damgo ang LUMAD BASAKANON SINULOG CONTINGENT ug mao kini ang mga mosunod ang mga nakuha nga pasidungog sa maong grupo.
