      • Separated at birth? Auren and Perry Farrell. I mean this as a big compliment. Really do look alike.

      • Auren clearly doesn't need another
        testimonial. If you aren't convinced
of how first-rate he is by now, you
should just move your browser off to
        another page. However, ever since
        that plunging elevator incident, I
        can't resist an opportunity to
embarrass the guy (Not easy to do of
course). So, it was dark and crowded
at the Acteva launch party at Kelly's
Mission Rock. Yes, it was a dot-com
party, and absolutely yes, those were
indeed the good ole days. Anyway,
Auren was drawing attention to himself
by yelling out to passers-by one of
the most original lines I'd ever
        heard: "Know any Java programmers?"
(Sometimes it's no wonder he's still
single.) And the rest is history.
He's clearly got the lines, he's got
the brain, and the ambition. As long
as you don't mind the occasional panic
attack in elevators and his party
affiliation, this is one guy with his
        ish together. (Damn, that wasn't
nearly as embarrassing as I'd hoped.
Did I mention the dot-com party?)

      • Yes, I remember the scene you so well-
        articulated in my testimonial, and
proffer no apologies. We sure were
ahead of our time though, using email
        in 1990.

      • Auren is one of the most open and easy
going person I've met. I saw him
twice, once he was reading a book
about the whole history of knowledge,
we had a deep political discussion,
the second time he was dancing like
Travolta at the Up and Down with the
hottest girl in the party. I must say
I was impressed :) if not jalous (not
        for the book:))
