All I know is 2006 is gonna rock me like a hurricane if for no other reason than Bill Adams being my 1st kiss of the year. Is it hot in here? Nope... it's just Bill. I've got oceans of love for you, baby.
I could write 2000 pages of nice things about Bill and it still couldn't come close to describing just how delightfull, sweet, and wonderfull this fella is. Pure and simple: Bill is where it's at. This kid owns a huge plot of land in my heart. I loves you, Baddams!
sometimes, if i ask nicely, Badums will
steal me things i don't really need or
want. this kid has a rapier's wit and,
i hear, is one hell of a dancer. bill,
you can shave my back anytime.
Bill is the most huggable, standing up
straight feller around. He's a rock and
roll time, kids. Next time you see bill
swaggering around, hug him, and then
give a full-fledged high-five if you're
tall enough. Because I'm not.
The setting: a little bar called the
Green Room in Iowa City, IA. Murder by
Death is playing (or Little Jo Gould at
the time) and some of my friends are
playing pool. I walk over to my friend
Bob and start conversing. He introduces
me to this Bob Saget-looking man. He
says "this is my brother, Bill." I
say "Hello, Bill." Then Bill and I
talked about the band playing, and
other bands we liked and the friendship
snowballed from there. I think that if
niceness and sweetness was measured in
articles of clothing, Bill would be a
fat man's full-body suit. There is that
much wholeheartedness there. Bill
compliments every social setting
fantastically. In fact, I often think
of Bill when I am on an awkward date
and things aren't going so well. I
think, "I bet if Bill were here,
everything would be much nicer." I miss
you, pal.
Seriously.
