About Me:
Lemon-flavored, down for whatever. I like Fluid and Aqua (the clubs
in Philly), and don't really use the word "jawn." I can find the fun in Wichita, but of course I'd much rather be in Philly or Seoul. Tired of Boston. Need a better excuse to get to NY more. Still hate LA, but have maad fun there. Want to get to Hong Kong. And Auckland. And Saigon. And Milan. Ask me about race in America, and you might be in for a few hours of bullshit over a couple of Yeunglings or Knob Creeks. I'm still pretty good at keeping in touch with old friends, but not as good at remembering birthdays as I used to be. Mostly now, my life consists of travel and friends' weddings. Don't take me to Foxwoods, and don't let me poopoo in your house. Um, also: Chasing Amy, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Good Will Hunting, Deep Cover, Barbershop, In America, Do the Right Thing, The Empire Strikes Back, Love & Basketball, Monsters Inc., God of Gamblers, Way of the Gun, Brother, Real Genius, Boyz 'N the Hood, The Pianist, Love Jones, High Fidelity, Bamboozled, Shall We Dance?, Schindler's List, Doctor Bong, A Bronx Tale, JSA, The Godfather Part II, Full Metal Jacket, Carlito's Way, Old School, Born Into Brothels, Bad Santa, Lagaan, Murderball, Mad Hot Ballroom, Crash, JSA. That's about it (okay, actually I could stand to update it). *whew!* Can you tell I like movies? It's what my bored ass did in Yamagata. I'm such a loser.

Who I Want to Meet:
I won't deny that petite brunettes with cornrows or silky tresses and gym arms who like Paul Van Dyk, Get Up Kids, Miles Davis, D'Angelo and Dilated Peoples, drive a manual, and who wear halter tops, eat pho and read Ha Jin and Nietsche and the WSJ are overly attractive. It's just that I heard how many old friends are on here, and for me it's really about staying in touch through the years so I can eventually bounce their kids on my knee. Some of them probably don't
want to be found (where are Dahlia Nayar and Nakyong Hyun and Orpheo Speer and Josh Lippy and Bernard Williams and.. ?). And along the way (Indian men take note), if I can hook up a spectacularly beautiful, intelligent, down-to-earth Jaian friend of mine with the
man of her dreams...
