About Me:
Eh, let's see. I moved to NYC in January '07. Born and raised in Cali so this is a big step for me! Other than one cousin, the other half of Magnetic North, and my stuffed bear that I've had since I was born, I'm alone! HAHA. Well... there is the Nintendo Store just a few subway stops away. That's always nice to know. =)

when we were in the dorms. He's the
type of guy that can hang out with a
bunch of girls and not question his
masculinity. He'll just make you be
quiet when his mom calls. Naw, but
really, i've always loved that about
derek, that he respects women. Don't
get me wrong, the boy's got a dirty
mind, its just that unlike with other
guys, when he's dirty, its funny and
not irritating to me. He's always down
for a late night boba, watching anime
into the wee hours of the night. He
takes ten times as long to tell a story
as anyone else, dances a crazy fiddler
on the roof, and is a very talented
talented person. Derek's one of my
best friends, one of those that you
don't let get away.
I let him beat me to make him happy.
He consults me on my love life during
game breaks. He refuses to share a
gatorade with me even when I'm dying
of thirst and don't have enough coins
to purchase from the vending machine.
Yes, he wants to keep his beautiful
voice and have a competitive advantage
over a dehydrated opponent. Someone
who is most likely to be active on aim
at five in the morning, someone who
tapes himself doing dance revolution,
and someone who I am blessed to be
friends with is the one and only Mr.
Derek Kan.
people I know. Everything about him
cracks me up, from making people wear
latex gloves, to his sexy rack dance.
And he is one of those people who are
so interesting because they are
amazingly well-rounded. He is a
talented performer, an avid collector
of fancy anime statues, a solid Smash
player, a good dancer, and a student!
not because of his dashing good looks
(whew-hot...haha!)or his mad skills on
the mic(damn he's so good! fo reals),
but because he had this
hardcore,gangsta celebrity look to him.
But he turned out to be a very
approachable, fun, goes-to-church,laid
back great guy and friend! He even gave
me a free cd from his group, ALL REAL!
Plus we have a few mutual friends as
well (robin, julia...etc). I can't wait
to see this guy land a record deal and
read about him on the latest issue of
VIBE. Derek, my friend, you know you
are a rising star...so everyone, be on
the look-out!

cal.. getting to know him was
definitely an experience.. i have to
say he's the MOST honest person i ever
met!! oh, and very sexual too, but i'm
sure EVERYONE knows that.. haha =P we
shared lotz of good memories especially
our freshmen year.. he is one talented
young MAN (haha.. or a boy =P) and i
truly value our friendship even tho we
don't see each other as much as
before.. this guy is gonna go places
(or have already gone) with all the
passion and dreams that he have.. any
gurl would be lucky to have steal his
heart.. i love watching anime and
playing video games/ddr when we have
time.. he's one of the few that i could
share my passion for anime, especially
fushigi yuugi!! btw, i'm still in
berkeley even tho i graduated, so we
could still finish escaflowne!! =D
