every facet, reach, application and

because she actually laughs at my
jokes. No seriously: Alex is
exceptionally intuitive, very
compassionate and super creative. She
is a really great cook, has a very
strong sense of asthetics, and can make
all kinds of organic and natural things
that look, smell, taste and feel
great. She remembers where all the
fine restaurants and cool places to go
are, is into music and is able to spot
any subject of interest a mile away.
She is naturally very curious, with a
playful hint of mischief, although she
is unlikely to do anything really bad.
Alex maintains a vibrant, cheerful
disposition and is enthusiastic about
her interests, though her energy is
calming, and her outlook grounded. She
makes decisions by listening carefully
to her heart, accepts life for what it
is, and finds the courage to take risks
and set out in new directions. She
bounces back from disappointments and
hurts quickly, and generates an
optimistic attitude. Alex has a
beautiful smile, a generous laugh and
an open heart and mind. As a friend,
Alex is most loyal, patient, accepting,
forgiving and devoted, and I love her
very much.
jus' gotta let people know the score. Alex
always has a dog or two that don't bark. That
is because they are sentient reincarnated
souls who are grateful to their Alex and do
not want to DISTURB her, yo. I remember
once my buddy Mitch and i were driving up
through DC, and we both thought, we
should try and get hold of Miss Alex, to see
her in her natural environs. We got a bunch
of quarters and hit a payphone, but didn't
have her number, so we called everyone in
the DC phonebook with her last name. We
talked briefly to a lot of black people, which
was cool for a while, but then the black
community of DC seemed to collectively
lose patience with the two of us, and we
drove out of town feeling disappointed. She
is the first person I knew who had the guts to
move to LA during the Plague years. I
worked at Starbucki (that feels kind of like
saying,"I was a teenage Scientologist") and
she worked at La Brea Bakery, so we
bartered coffee for bread. She had a crush
on Joe Perry , who used to pay for his bread.
She is a cards-on-the-table, dye-on-your-
fingers, in-touch lady, and she's got a
coursely-tuned dirty sense of humour and a
bawdy guffaw that is right out of a Louis
L'amour novel. She has an awesome
generosity and filigreed grace. I really wish
she lived close by.
love for the overflowing goblet of spirit and
brilliance that is Alex. And one thing we
knows for sures is that you can't keep a good
gal gone too long. Hurry back...hurry back...
