Master Class together some years back. I didn't
think much of her for the first few classes except
that she always raised her hand politely instead of
the air-stabbing method common in our crowd.
Then one class she gets up to present her script
for some turkey baster, and instead of opening her
mouth, her body cracks apart almost as if hinged
and a purple light (so so so purple) comes pouring
out with flashing effects like Amanda hired some
thunderbolts to pitch in, and then two identical
pink unicorns rise out of her, engulfed in
aforementioned light, spewing spiraling cartoon
hearts.
There was not a dry eye in the house.
"The cartoon hearts are very hot," our professor
shouted. "Guard your grill!" It apparently wasn't
his first time with cartoons.
So yeah. Amanda's great.

she'll never know. A class act.
innocent way of not even seeming to know it.
ever met. Someone you'd be proud to
call your friend. And to boot, I don't
know if there's anyone who gives her
all out there on the street hockey
court than Amanda!
