ole' Adam? First time I met him was at
speak easy, he was running from some
guy that just wouldn't shut up. Anyhow,
I had to hear about it afterwards, but
could sympathize, as I have a low
tolerance for people that talk about
meaningless stuff and don't get the
hint that you want them to zip it.
Anyhow, we ended up hanging out that
night, then found ourselves a couple
hours later in Vegas! I totally crapped
out, but not Mr. Lucky (Adam)!! That's
right he came home with over $10K and
covered my losses! What a great guy
hah? Okay okay, maybe that didn't
happen, but was a good story.
decided to bring his lunch to work. On
Monday, he brought in a loaf of white
bread, a jar of mustard, a jar of
mayonnaise, and a pack of Kraft
singles. Every day he made himself a
sandwich. By the end of the week, he
had used the majority of the bread and
Kraft singles. I am pretty sure that he
made sizable dents in the mustard and
mayonnaise jars, too. On Friday,
though, he left the office without any
of these things. He never spoke of his
sandwich making again. To this day, I
wonder if there is part of a loaf of
bread, some Kraft Singles, and
partially-filled jars of mustard and
mayonnaise hidden somewhere in the
office.
of Star Trek, which sits fine with him
and fine with me.
