      • When it comes to getting awesome you are the raddest person I have never met; this is a distinction that you alone hold.

      • once upon a time, blythe and i had a calming effect on one another-- we'd say "mellow night" and we'd end up on her couch with a movie. now we end up on someone else's couch, the next morning, the words "san diego" on our lips...

      • Blythe would rather you didn't know this, but
she used to wait backstage at "Cats." No that
isn't true, but seriously, if you're embarrassed
because you think you know too much about
eighties television shows, she's the blonde
one at the bar, about to teach the old guy
        about sake bombs.

      • this one time blythe and i raged it
until the break of day shaking our
asses and it went down in history as
the booty shakenist day ever known to
man. and damn, if ever a girl knew how
to shake her booty, this is the one,
the only hottest mama booty shaker of
them all. i wish i could spend all of
my days and nights shaking booties
        with blythe.

      • Blythe is a force of nature, a
hurricane, but a warm, sweet, hilarious
one, not like Hurricane Isabel at all.
No, no, Hurricane Blythe roars into
your town and takes you out to sushi
and acts in some plays with you and
you've never laughed so hard and then,
SWOOSH, she moves on. What was that
horrible movie? With Bill Paxton? And
Helen Hunt? Oh, yeah, "Twister"? Well,
remember how they chase those storms
all over in their pickup truck and it
seems like they're really crazy for
doing it, for chasing the storms? Well,
with Hurricane Blythe, it all sort of
makes sense. I don't know. This
metaphor has spiraled out of control...
The point is, Blythe had a big impact
on me when I was an impressionable 18-
year-old, and I miss her, and I wish
her well. I'm expecting to see her name
on a marquee any day now.

to see if it's possible to catch
sunset on the coast... it is not
possible, but it IS possible to catch
the attention of Los Federales! A Dios
        Mio!
