About Me:
i'm a "san franciscan", though it took me 24 years to find
my way here...
i'm a recovering New Yorker, a recovering Catholic, and a
recovering dot-commer. if i ever shake all three of those
out of my system, i'll probably have acheived Enlightenment,
but hey- it's all about the journey, right?

Who I Want to Meet:
i was going to distinguish between what i look for in
friends vs. romantic prospects, but i realized that they're
not really very different...
You're your own person, and you like who you are (or are at
least working on it).
You're gonna disagree with me and tell me why. You're gonna
let me win the argument sometimes, even when I'm being stupid.
You have traits that I never thought I could put up with.
You look cute when you think noone's looking at you. You
really listen to me.
You'll steal my french fries without asking. You'll tell me
stuff that I never thought about before. You'll get the
door for me sometimes, but not always.

lifetime . . . . very few genuine, open,
sweet men. I've had the good fate of
growing up with two, my father &
brother. But one of the best accidents
of fate was meeting Al through my
brother. From the very moment we met, he
has been a constant reminder that some
dreams do come true; if you look hard
enough, you will find there are still
good people out there. He is a dedicated
and devoted friend. Extremely
intelligent. Very compassionate. Clever.
Witty. He is without a doubt, one of the
good ones I've met & have the honor of
knowing. And have you seen that smile?
His charm puts a spell on you before you
know it. Being my brother's best friend,
he's my brother by association & I love
him dearly.

friends wiht Alex since the early 90's and he's
never disappointed me. I'd like think we've been
there for each other if not physically then in spirit.
Even now I can here is annoying voice in the back
of my head makign comments ( of course that
could just be the voices in my head doing an
impression of Alex, oh well who cares). He has
been the Butch to my Sundance, Thelma to my
Louise, the heckle to my Jeckle, in oher words he
been a pain in my ass for quite some time (its
about time he got other friends). you cant buy a
friend like Alex, trust me I've bought enought
friends in my day to know that. He's one of the few
poeple I can actually say I'd shed blood for ( just
not my own). I miss him and i luv the brotha liek a
