About Me:
I saw myself on the train today. I think someone has fallen in love with her image. She must paint. She has paint down in the crevices of her nails. She has bruises on her arms, tough girl syndrome, I imagine. The band-aid on her foot is coming off. So is mine. Freckles on her shoulders. Her earrings dangle like chandeliers on a ship in rough waters. Her bra is sheer. I can pretty much see her nipples. I look down. Has someone loved her and then been done with her? I think I may be prettier than me. I wonder if she has a letter written on a napkin in her purse. A letter written to a boy. Written in an airport in North Carolina. A letter of longing. Maybe that is too specific. I think she looks a little rough because it is the second day in row she has been unable to find her keys from the nights of binge drinking. Has she been told she is a distraction because she smells like sugar cookies? I think everyday must feel like yesterday to her, no matter how drastic her changes. Every man eyes her as she walks out. She didn't even notice. She is reading Rimbaud. Is she reading it just to feel pretentious? She has probably been told she is oblivious before. Is the bottom of her toolbox littered with glitter and dead roses? She looks like Axl Rose with great tits. I am sure she has heard it all before.

ever met. Not MY muse, but a muse
nonetheless. She is passion and chaos
and sweetness and delicacy, as well as
something wild that might bite you if
you rub her wrong or maybe just too much...
I took her to her senior prom (for which
I am grateful and proud beyond words)
and nursed a secret crush for years. I
am glad to see her expressing her art
and living in a city that's not too
small for her... I only hope that all
the people in her life can remember that
she is a blessing on our journey, and
not to be taken for granted or
disparaged. Perhaps her heart is too big
for some people, in the long run it's
their loss, and their danger to misuse
her generousity of spirit...
May she always remember who knew her
when she had no boobs and thought that
the Albino Prince was called "Erlick" :)
Spring is a good, true friend who will
ALWAYS be a sack of potatoes to me!

together, chased the gap girl through
the mall, and still wound up Hippies

go through all that and not be bonded.
I've never known anyone who could make
me laugh harder. I love her and miss her
dearly.
