A Band from Cebu City, Philippines Started out as a solo project in 2003 of Abe Pastor Ex. Order in Chaos (Marikina City), Glitch, Stickshit, Downface (Cebu City) in a small studio/office in Leyte. The focus of his project was mainly to kill office boredom and to create a heavier, faster and aggressive type of music different from his previous bands. Getting assistance from a very close friend/kapatid Sugar "Ougar" Espinosa (Hatemail, ex - Wetwarm) to sing on some tracks the project came out good but remained on the internet www.myspace.com/stabwounds alone for three years. There wasn't really a decision on doing live gigs however, most friends wanted to see the band play after listening to the materials on the internet. Most of the guys from the Northern part of the country would ask permission to have the songs played on Local Radio stations which permission was openly granted. Because of those people appreciating the songs, the idea of playing live became the next step in the Stabwounds project. In 2006 he went back to Cebu and formed up a session group with members; Ougar on vocals, Daniel Pastor (Spoil), Alvin Pastor (Stickshit) and Englebert (One Man Down, Pipebomb Landmines, Bombo Pluto Ova etc....). The group played live lasted for 5 months and then vanished for some unknown reasons. 2007 was a silent year for Stabwounds which nearly triggered the bands demise (but it never did). On March 2008, Abe was messaged by Ronald “Ronron” Garcia. A bassist and also a fellow forumer (music) asked him if he still wants to form a group. Without thinking twice a meeting was set and exchange of suggestions and ideas came after that. The decision ended up in resurrecting Stabwounds. New members were not hard to find at that time when Abe suggested former Downface bandmate, Earl “Cream Earl’ Villamala (Sadistri, Downface, Natal Cleft, Ambershotsapphire) to fill up for the drums. Cream Earl then recommended Michael “Macky” Ranario (ex-Glitch, Mollyfair, Sphere) to play guitar number who also had a couple of drinks with Abe and talked about forming a band. Ougar offered to sing again and history will continue...
