About Me:
Like all summer residential camps, Ramah in the Berkshires offers a full program of sports instructionbasketball, softball, tennis, volleyball, hockey, Frisbee, and soccer. But Ramah is more.
Like all summer camps, Ramah in the Berkshires offers water sports and instruction. On beautiful Lake Ellis, Ramah has complete swimming and boating programs, with full American Red Cross certification. But Ramah is more.
Like all summer camps, Ramah in the Berkshires has a full range of programs in the arts. Campers participate in arts and crafts, dramatics, music, dance, and photography. Ramah's special programsa Zimriyah, song festival; a Rikudiyah, dance festival; Yom Sport, Sport Day, are legendary. Our Al Hagova (outdoor education) program is cutting edge. Ramah combines classical camping with the teaching of Jewish values. But Ramah is so much more.
Set in Wingdale, New York, Ramah serves boys and girls entering grades four through eleven. Ramah in the Berkshires is a Jewish community, created every summer by campers, counselors, educators, and visiting rabbis. Jewish living is an invigorating and fulfilling daily experience. Jewish observance and practice, Hebrew language and study are integrated into the normal daily life of the over 700 campers and staff.
Lifetime learning and memories; lifelong friendshipsLet your child be part of the wonderful experience that is Camp Ramah in the Berkshires.
