That's what I thought.
intellectual hedonist. She is
intelligent, literate, analytical, and
aware. She is the quintessential
bluestocking, capable of articulating
elegant discourses on topics of
philosophy, literature, art, and
history. If this was the full abstract
of Dona, she would be a beautiful
academic, cloistered in an ivory tower,
developing insightful theories about
life... but she does not live life 'in
theory'. Dona devours experience the
way Hemingway or Kesey did. She
unapologetically embraces pleasure and
pain with the philosophical training and
perspective necessary to enjoy them
intellectually as well as viscerally.
She is fearless, aggressive,
uninhibited, curious, and social. She
is the most adventurous lover and
companion I have ever had. She also
wears a latex catsuit as if she were
born in one (a prospect I am
progressively finding less dubious).
And yet... Dona has a terrific capacity
for tenderness and intimacy as well,
which suppresses all doubt that she
might be anything less than fully human.
If you are intelligent, confident,
adventurous, uninhibited, and beautiful
then you will find this combination
*spellbinding*. If you are none of
these things, beware; Dona does not
suffer fools, and you will be intimidated.
blinding you for a moment and you blink
in wondering amazement. She has a love
of life that I have never been able to
achieve and a talent for making you feel
like you are the most important person
in the world. Dona has been a bad
influence in my life, and for that I
love her. =)
of the few people I've met in my life
that has been able to match me every
step of the way, and surprise me more
often than not, both intellectually
and spiritually.

She is like the warm desert wind
on the night of the full moon, full of
promise and mystery where all things
are possible...
