To nurture our pupils to be life-long learners, responsible, righteous, resolute and caring, able to contribute to society.

To indicate in our pupils the need and ability to behave properly and correctly and to make the right decisions to carry out the appropriate tasks without needing to be told or watched over.
RIGHTEOUS
To instill in our pupils a sense of integrity, able to discern right from wrong and what is acceptable and not acceptable. They are to be resolute in holding on to their values and principles especially in this fast changing and transient society.
RESOLUTE
To imbibe in our pupils the need for determination, perseverance, constancy and tenacity to pursue their goals and aspirations.

School Crest:
The letters 'J' and 'Y' nestling on a double S, symbolise the development and growth of the individual child in school within the context of the community at large and the nation.

Junyuan, which means in Mandarin, the SOURCE OF GOOD THINGS, is the place where the pupils are taught to be persons of character and to discover, strive and pursue the truth and ideals of education. It is also the place where the pupils are nurtured by a supportive school community to develop their potential as they challenge themselves for greater heights.

The pupils are constantly reminded that ultimately they have a role to play in society. Whilst the pupils are given opportunities to grow to be unique individuals, capable of independent thought and expression; they have a duty to be responsible citizens of nation and world.
