Who I Want to Meet:
People who read books. I'm always on the look out for new books to read. If I like you, I'll foist books on you. Is "bibliovore" a real word?
My favorite scrabble partner has moved to New Jersey and I'd like to find someone else who will stay up until 4am drinking wine and playing scrabble and won't mind when I fall asleep on the couch in the middle of a game. rumour has it that the owners of the couch may be moving back to philly. wild wild rumours. i'm still seeking scrabble people.)
Someone who appreciates nonsense. Someone who will let me appreciate their nonsense.

since she was 3 and a half. And she
hasn't changed. She's still a damn
good story-teller, unless the stories
are about me, and then they are lies,
damn lies. Witty, I'd even call her.
Fast, too. None of the adults could
catch her at age three, and they still
can't. Generous, even to the point of
helping strangers move furniture and
other items of American over-
consumption.
where I distill all my friends to a single
adjective.. and Jessica's adjective is "fierce."
She is fiercely intelligent, fiercely beautiful,
fiercely strong, fiercely loyal, fiercely sexy,
fiercely funny.. everything this woman says/
does/is radiates intensity. She is the
essence of ferocity, in all the best possible
ways. Like all challenging people, she'll
stretch your world, and make you better for
it. Strive to be her friend, if you think you're
worthy.
playing skills or stamina. Many a day
and night she spent on my couch picking
just the right letter for that triple
letter score---oh, not with me, I don't
play scrabble. Plus, Jessica is
beautiful and a kindly person. Plus,
she'll eat anything I cook.
while, but IM floor hockey hasn't been
the same since you left.
Boys, and fold oragami like nobody's
business, but she's pretty tough. Back
in the day, we were maybe 9, they had
to send three squad cars and six armed
police to take us away...
confidence. One time, while we were
taking a graduate course in gene
expression she completely freaked out
about a presentation I made about
mutant mice. She made me feel like I
was really smart and above all really
cool. That, in additoon to many other
reasons, are why I'm elated to have her
as a part of my life. She is the
smartest and most fun "everything" geek
I know.
And since I move around a lot, it's
hard to stay in touch. Jessica's
really worth it!
