I am a generally laid back guy. I enjoy home improvement projects and landscaping type stuff. My friends like to tease me for such stereotypically straight activities. Yet, I also enjoy going out to gay clubs, dancing, shopping, travelling, interior design, and did I mention shopping? For all the shopping I do, I have to admit that my favorite stores are Home Depot and Menards (where you always save big money).

I moved to Chicago in July 2004 and am acclimmating to my new urban surroundings. It has been a big change from living in a smaller community in Wisconsin. The prospect of living in a city with a large gay population is exciting, but I've yet to find my niche. I have trouble approaching people, as I am shy. However, once I meet someone, I am more relaxed and fun.

I am basically looking for friends to hang out with and have fun. I am able to have fun doing almost anything as long as the person I am with is fun. I am attracted to younger guys. I think it is because I didn't come out until a little later, I sort of feel as though I missed out on that part of my life. On the other hand, It is personality that friendship is based on so I am open to meeting many types of fun and interesting people.
