About Me:
I am a short gay skateboarding mathematician. I used to be a
type-A personality, but the older I get, the more type-B I
get. I was raised to have high cultural standards, but
somehow, I ended up having very low cultural standards, as
evidenced by my enjoyment of such movies as "Dude, Where's
My Car" and my excitement over the impending release of such
movies as "Seriously, Dude, Where's My Car". I have an
amazing partner of 7.5 years named Jude. He can make me laugh until I
can barely breathe. He does awesome instructional design work for non-
profits.

Who I Want to Meet:
Based on previous empirical evidence, I'd have to say:
anyone. I'm crazy about nearly everyone I've ever met.
Including you.

about anyone. This may because he hasn't
known me long enough to have heard most of
them, but I care not -- he stokes my ego, and
therefore I feel great love for him. He's also
just so darn sweet I wanna dip him in my
coffee and nibble on him like a donut
burginer. (Hey Chad, don't forget to change
your profile now that you're married!)
big biceps and stuff, which by all
accounts means he should at least be an
asshole. But no, he has to be a really
great guy too. In fact, the only
complaint I have is that he thought it
would be better to move out to the west
coast than to hang out in scenic Durham
with yours truly. Oh well. I'm not
bitter. (but come back!!)
over-achieving since high school, but he's
also really funny so I forgive him for it.
has been since we first met in 9th
grade. Back then, he impressed me with
his smarts, good looks ;) and
unassuming charm, and on top of that,
his amazing sense of kindness,
generosity, and tolerance -- all rather
unusual for a top-of-his-class high
school boy! Chad may have traveled far
and wide since then, taking up new
pursuits along the way, but no matter
what he does, he always was and always
will be a sweetheart in my book!
of Chad:
* Chad's not just cool, he's mad cool.
* Chad's the friend of your older
brother who when you're a kid you and
all your lil girlfriends (and probably
boyfriends) had crushes on.
* He's also the kinda guy who'll sense
such lil girlfriend crushes and humor
you by flexing, just a lil, as he
practices viola.
* Chad's crazy smart but pretends like
we're all just as smart.
* Chad's the type of guy who offers you
his coat when you're cold.
And a brief tribute to the coolness of
Jude:
Jude's the kinda guy who offers Chad
his coat after Chad hands you his own.
Did that sentence just make sense? You
get the idea
Case and point. :)
was the smartest kid in class (ask him
about the math speed tests sometime!)
He was also my first "date" (in the 4th
grade--we went to McDonald's together
for lunch--how romantic!) and my first
dance partner (in the "voluntary"
social dance classes foisted upon us in
5th grade in order to raise our
cultural standards (see also "cultural
standards, low" in Chad's profile)--
guess it didn't work too well...
Anyway, we lost touch in the ensuing
years and reconnected about 4 years
ago, and I can very honestly say that I
am very, very glad! Chad's been an
awesome friend all through and I look
forward to remaining friends 'till
we're old and grey.
must say, "short" is not the first
word I would use in a description.
He's a devoted friend, with a mind and
a heart like the big industrial sponge
my dad uses to wash cars. He's a
super brain, and he has the cutest
little habit of wriggling his lips
when he's playing the viola. You are
lucky if you get to meet him in this
or any other forum.
of the most chivalrous duo you'll ever
meet; they may be off limits, but they
sure make for good eye candy :)
