movies in a school week was
impossible. Then I met Bowen. She
easily disproved my theory by
demonstrating several
counterexamples. :) While not watching
movies or working on her research,
Bowen will often sniff your food to
make sure it's safe for you to eat it.
She'll also make time for volleyball
and likes to cry really loud when
servicing an error, hoping that she'll
scare someone into hitting the ball
before it goes out of bounds. (It
hasn't worked yet, but I'm sure one
day it will.) But really, Bowen's true
skills can be found in her good-
natured stories of actual events
(which somehow change with each
telling) and her inquisitive mind
("How did you make the fruits so
cold?"). :) See you and Minnie around!
testimonial. Bowen acts nice, but she is
really mean. She even hits her own
friends. How could she be so cruel? I
didn't really mean any of that, Bowen is
fantastically great even though she does
confusing Bayesian things that no one
understands.
loves her doggie,
loves jesus and canada too =)
Great friend and very critical ... so if
you can't find anything wrong in
something, go and ask her ... she would
find a dozen for you ... but when it
comes to Volleyball, she would do
anything for a game !!
and for hockey "Go kanucks go" =D
Mike - You're scaring off all the non-
geeky guys!
endangered, is very rare, whose Latin
name is sometimes given as Attractivus
Geekygirlus. Shy at first, she
can warm up in conversation, whether the
topic be intellectual or humorous, so
long as the tone is non-adversarial, and
will even put up with a good measure of
friendly flirtation. Qualities:
storing Asian pop music CDs and Linux
CDs together in the same CD carrying
case; referring to her carrying case of
currently active CDs as her "cache";
participating in delinquent late night
life (ask her about the group of
"vampires" she belongs to); drawing;
having a soft spot for canines. Faults:
pulling hair when frustrated;
exhibiting an irrational fear of
cicadas. In my estimation, she is a real
catch for The Right Guy. I wish her much
fortune in her pursuits and dreams, and
pray she become both a role model for
other women of geekdom, and a beacon of
hope for male CS geeks. Don't miss out!
stand me for a whole semester now!
Love talking to you about everything
especially our totally clueless
reaction after class. Seriously...you
made Grad School fun! Our goal for
tomorrow: SLEEP~~~~~~~~~~~...mmm what
project????
is great person & super smart! You
must get to know her! Now!! If you
can get her dog, Minnie, to cuddle
with you, I'd be impressed & perhaps
her as well. ;-)
