I left Faust some nice antique
furniture that probably has drag
droppings on it by now. Fausto, did
you know that I used to masturbate with
a stethoscope in a room I rented from
you? I hope he moves to NYC because I
go there almost every other week and
need a place to crash. Have you been to
the SOHO Apple store, Fausto? Well,
it's almost as cool as The Prada Store
but by golly, Rem Koolhaas is cooler
than Steve Jobs. He he. It only costs
$10 to take the Boston SARS (Chinatown)
bus to NYC! That is cheaper than a
bottle of Amyl Nitrate. If and when you
ever move to NYC you best make it the
East Village, or Williamsburg,
Brooklyn, baby!
had (I have several brothers :) When I
was little, he used to do puppet shows
for me and my friends. We would also
play the tasting game, where I would
close my eyes and he would fill a spoon
with a mysterious substance, and I
would eat it. (You might at this point
guess that I am the younger one.) And
despite the fact that he could have
abused his power, he never did. So, as
you can see, he is not only a performer
at heart, but his heart is also
generous and kind. :P
Imagine getting a delivery in the mail,
inside is a letter, which you never
actually get to read, because somehow
you can't unfold it without it turning
into a fabulous oragami bird.
Amazing, wonderful, beautiful,
suprising and unpredictible. Fausto's
soul is filled with joy. He's a
trickster. We did crazy-ass things in
Austin, Texas as part of the crazy-ass
Performance Art Church. We made big
loud deep impossible art. I remember
Fausto outfitting me into a tin foil
wig of incredible architecture and then
full tin foil suit. He croons love
songs and I sing backing harmonies as
released doves fly from the balcony.
His energy and verve is incredible. He
is a force of nature as much as he is a
person.
already know! Fausto is fun and if you don't
believe me go to faustofun.org!.... Really. I've
known Fausto for about 6 years now. We met
in the back bar of the Eagle, no , not the back
room of the Eagle, but the back bar. He came
up to me and said, "Say, don't I know you from
the Internet?" What a line I thought. See he was
hooked on the net even back then. But he
insisted he knew me from the Internet and he
insisted that I go home with him to prove it by
showing me my pic on his computer(a Power
mac clone for all you macaddicts). Well, his
plan worked and I went to his apartment to see
the picture he suppossedly had of me. The
picture looked nothing like me. The guy had
brown hair and that is about as far as the
resemblance went, but I was already there so
we had sex anyway. We eventually moved in
together. We partied, traveled, worked
together on some shows, worked out together.
Although we no longer live together, I count
Fausto as one of my best friends.
