I am 24 years old and I am a teacher at The New England Center for Children for children ages 1-3 who have Autism. It is very challenging work, but when I see their progress and the smiles on their (and their parents') faces, it is all SO worth it!!! Please check out the school's website if you get a chance (www.necc.org). I am also going to graduate school through Simmons College to get my master's of education degree in severe special needs. I plan to graduate in May of 2007. Right now, my life is INSANE!!! I am taking 2 classes (one of which is a weekend class for 3 weekends), working full-time at a very demanding job that requires work to be brought home, writing my THESIS and various other papers, studying for the MA teacher's test on March 4th,preparing for and helping to plan 2 of my friends' weddings that I am in this spring, AND planning my OWN wedding, which is June 2nd, 2007. *whew* I love my fiance, my family, my friends, and my students. They are the world to me! I LOVE to dance, I sing in the car, I hate people who are late, I am so pscyhed to be planning my own wedding since I have been dreaming about it since I was a little girl (Hooray for dressing up like a princess!), dark chocolate is amazing, my guilty pleasures are watching Seventh Heaven and Desparate Housewives, I miss living in New Hampshire even though it's boring up there, my favorite season is summer, I miss the college days, and yeah...
