"...and though we are not now that strength which in old days moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts, Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."

      • George encapsilates all that is best in
        humanity, a person/mentality truely
        real, uninhidited, creative:gushing w/
all he can give but sensoring when
        nesasary...talented, motivated, caring,
giving: too good for himself and people
at large. He is a creative gift to the
world that we do not deserve but take
for granted. I love George dearly and
respect him above all my dearest though
he is unaware. He LIVES UP TO HIS
IDEALS Which few people will ever think
about at all,let alone live by. George
has thought of most all things and has
assesed where he stands, but when you
bring up any subject matter he is
modest, open, informative, and open to
youe perspective: giving you ideas to
chew on. He is more than a brilliant
artist (trust me I am critical, he
really is talented) he is a good man,
who cares deeply, knows inately and
acts w/conviction. Plus I am told he is
unrivaled in the act of love...

      • George and I have known each other
since the first damned day of high
school and it ain't always been rosey,
but it has always been true. He's seen
me at my worst and most pathetic
        moments, heard my deepest confessions,
tolerated my bullshit and called me on
more than a few counts of it
over...well, coming up on two decades'
worth of bullshit. He's my brother as
much in spirit as my mother's other son
is in blood, kinda the Ellwood to my
Jake. God, I wish he could only see
himself the way I see him. - Course,
if he did, he wouldn't keep this
        riffraff like *me* around! He's
enormously talented and smart like a
wet towel crack on the ass, has
insights that escape most mortal men,
and the only thing he needs more than a
nifty lid to wear this summer is a
swift kick in the ass when he's feeling
down on himself. It's a great feelign
when he enters a party - everyone in
the room spots him and exclaims his
name in praise. Beloved George, boy
wonder, wherever is your flying car?

      • Ah yes, Dr. G., to know him is to love
him... no one among his numerous
friends would deny this. At once
        quick witted, culturally literate,
        spiritually driven, and possessing the
type of love for life that is
contagious enough to set a party of
thousands on fire. If you've been
dancing with George then you know what
I'm talking about and you know he has
        the moves.

      • George was my first friend in New York. The
night I met him, we hung out at his place and
got drunk, then ran out of booze. The night
was far too young to quit, so I, not knowing
the finer areas surrounding the G train,
innocently asked if there was any bar we could
buy a bottle from in his neighborhood. He
mentioned something he thought might be a
strip club, which turned out to be a
whorehouse that we were clearly not welcome
at. We played cool and played a couple games
of Cruisin' USA before taking off, and stole a
fire hydrant on our way back. It probably
weighed about 200 pounds. I made him get
the car to drive it the block and a half back to
his place. I believe it is still the toilet paper
dispenser in his fab pad. He's a good egg,
        that George.
