School-related material currently occupies most of my reading time, so I have not been able to pick up a book for pleasure in quite a while. However, I enjoyed The Scarlet Letter, To Kill a Mockingbird, and some Shakespeare plays (Macbeth, Hamlet, The Tempest, Othello, and King Lear). At the opposite end of the spectrum, I particularly dislike anything written by James Joyce and remember thinking that George Eliot's Silas Marner was equally awful.

I am a shy, quiet guy who requires time to warm up to people. Despite being a generally relaxed person, I consider myself to be an ambitious and dedicated hard worker, which necessarily limits my tendency to refer to myself as either easy-going or laid-back. I enjoy a witty sense of humor and appropriately-used sarcasm. I have been told that once I am comfortable around someone, I can be funny, particular because of the way I tend to phrase things. After the studying is done, it is easy for me to have a good time.

Just looking around . . . As an aside, the three keywords that come to my mind when I consider what attracts me to someone are "sweet," "cute," and "normal." Thoughtfulness, intelligence, and spunk are also necessities.
