      • I was quite young when I left Dhahran,
but I remember it vividly. Not so
much because I have a great memory,
but because when I left, I was so
heartbroken that I forced myself to
remember it. Every day I would go
over the ground plan of my house at
412 Ain Dar Lane, I would map out the
routes I took to get to school and to
my closest friends houses. I would
        picture myself back home playing
tetherball and 4 square and I would
feel so content in my nostalgia
recalling girl scout beach camp and
pealing potatoes for 3 days after
being caught putting toothpaste in the
        PortaPotties with my very bad
        influence girl scout friends. Every
time I saw a golf cart I got teary
eyed. Aramco is a wonderful place to
grow up and I'm so happy that I got to
spend my childhood there and that I
was old enough to remember it when I
left because it has a very special
        place in my heart.
