So on my first day of kindergarten in 1979, our family station wagon broke down and we had to walk the rest of the way. it was just a half block, but at the time it seem like the Tour de Northbrook. It was tough, but I managed. On the second day, I had a glue stick accident had had to dip into my emergency "change" of clothing.
