So I'm still in L.A.!! I didn't tuck my tail and run away...something I've been known to do in the past about ten seconds after I set foot outside of my comfort zone. For those of you that don't know, my comfort zone is, and will probably always be, Birmingham. So I guess I kinda stepped out on a limb this time. I'm about 2500 miles from everything in the world thats familiar to me, and to tell you the truth, I kinda like it.

I'm still persuing acting. No need to look for me on the big screen yet...unless you enjoy spending hours trying to decipher those colorful blurs in the background more commonly known as extras. We extras prefer to be called "background actors", but common...we're not foolin' anyone. I work constantly... usually 12 to 14 hours a day. One might ask why I would be doing extra work. Believe me, I ask myself the same question all the time. How does that old saying go? "You gotta start somewhere." Now don't get me wrong, I am not naive or stupid enough to believe that my big break will come working on the set as an extra. I am simply doing it to get into the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). Yes that is the same union that was made light of in the movie "Team America". I think, however, in that movie it was referred to as F.A.G....hahaha. Anyways, whatever you wanna call it...I'm two thirds of the way in, and meanwhile I've been learning hands on about this industry, by simply watching actors act. Next step- get an agent. The step after that- well let's not get carried away.

I hope all is going well for all of you. I'm sure that next time we are all together in the same place (probably some time in December), it will be business as usual...and I can't wait. Keep in touch people!!
